Speak with Confidence and Clarity

Public Speaking Training for Law Firms

Public speaking is not a soft skill. It’s a power skill!

Your lawyers understand the law, but do they know how to confidently engage and persuade others? Effective public speaking for attorneys is about so much more than knowing the law and how to apply it to particular situations.

People expect lawyers to be accomplished in each aspect of the legal profession, and nothing is more evident than public speaking and presentation skills. Consequently,  your attorneys’ abilities to present their ideas and arguments in an engaging and persuasive manner can be the difference between winning and losing, success and failure.

Being a powerful and convincing presenter provides an advantage that many professionals do not possess, making this training indispensable for seasoned partners and junior associates, litigators, and transactional lawyers.

Partners and veteran attorneys

Veteran attorneys and/or partners have accomplished a great deal and at a high level. Yet there’s always room for improvement, especially as communication techniques change over time!

It’s likely that they know where they need to improve, and it’s just as likely that they might not realize there are several specific techniques keeping them from reaching the highest levels.

Developing their public speaking skills is the opportunity for your veteran attorneys and/or your entire firm to take things to that next level! Let’s discuss how we can work together to get your attorneys there!

Associate attorneys

It’s a simple equation. Lawyers’ careers can progress only as far as their skills — technical and power skills alike — will take them.

Is each of your attorneys confident when they speak? Are they achieving the results you’re looking for? Are they experiencing the level of success you’ve envisioned for them?

2. On the day of the training, we begin with a 1-hour general session with the group.

3. Then each attorney has a 1-hour laser-focused one-on-one session with me.

4. At 30, 90, and 180 days, follow-up ensures that each lawyer can implement best the techniques and ideas they’ve learned. It also provides them with the opportunity to ask for assistance on particular points.
